Yesterday we had a formal thank you to our Mayor Simon Rubner for is wonderful service to Gratitude.

His reply to us:

I just wanted to thank you for the certificate. It was so thoughtful of you.

 Volunteering is not about recognition, it is about making a difference. 

Recognition is great, but seeing the appreciation of your clients for the food you provide is even greater.

It really was my pleasure to volunteer with you over the past couple of months. Your dedication to the charity is really amazing and it is wonderful to see volunteers from across the community coming together to do good for others. I really enjoy helping you out, you have an excellent team spirit.

Gratitude is an example of what humanity is really about.  If only everyone would learn from organisations like yours the world would be a much better place.

Keep up the good work, Send my thanks to Vivienne and all the other volunteers and keep me involved.
