Cllr Charles Goldstein, Hertsmere Mayor, joined us today along with Borehamwood’s ex mayor Cllr Clive Butchins and wife for a wonderful community lunch event.
We had an inspiring introduction by Japa Carlisle, wonderful screening of the Gratitude film by Phillip Appleby, appreciation speech by Mayor, great lunch by Gratitude team and brilliant music by Paul Lomax and friends.
Special mention to Sarit Cohen for making us the best lasagne from 100% food saved from waste. To Etty Gafan for being our miracle lady, how she magic those salads bowels and donations towards our anniversary event, God knows.
To Rohama Shalom for so much care and support every week, to Hanna Katz for the spirituality and cheerfulness. To Enid, Debra and Viv for all around help. To Hari Priya for the amazing anniversary super cake, to Nila Nikki Sahu for admin support and gifts for guests … and to the wonderful Borehamwood community who gives us the opportunity to serve.
