On the Knitting for Charity front, our group is still going very strong. We use donated wool and engage with projects that benefit at the moment nurses, such as the making of the strip that support the face mask from the back. And recently we knitted and crochet hearts for hospital’s patients, organised by Liz.
Also, collections of toiletries suitable for nurses on the job is going very well, organised by Viv.
Groceries for Heroes going very well. NHS staff, Policemen and firefighters are getting regular deliveries from us of milk and recently chocolates.
More in the chocolates front; we distributed few van loads recently to other projects such to refugees centre in Barnet, to staff at university college hospital London, Colindale food bank, Edgware Brownies, the family shelter and the Popolars.
On Groceries Distribution to local families in hardships, nhs staff and key workers in Allum Hall, we are averaging 40 families every night. The Mayor of Borehamwood and wife will be volunteering with us for a few days a week, helping to serve the public
