Just a day at Gratitude

Just a day at Gratitude 13.04.2020:

Easter eggs left over were taken in the morning by Vivian Palmer to the firemen and ambulance crew in Borehamwood. She also managed to send some to the kids in Barnet Hospital along with her donations of hand creams for the nurses. Thank you so much dear Viv.

Then we collected about a van full of save from waste foods from various supermarkets. These were made into groceries deliveries in Borehamwood to NHS staff, which were made by Lisa Crewford today. Big thank you very much.
Then Fazekas Valeria arranged that groceries deliveries were taken to key workers in Borehamwood, to an elderly folks home and to few families in need.

Ruhama Shalom took around groceries to elderly people in isolation.

Sarit Cohen who cooks now with CompassionLondon, made them face masks from Gratitude’s Recycled stock.

Japa Carlisle took out some deliveries to Food for All who cook for the London calling initiative.

Cllr Michelle Vince arranged help for a family in need, which Gratitude was able to provide with a week long of groceries.

If you know of NHS staff or key workers in Borehamwood, please let us know and we will be happy to drop off groceries at their door. The little we can do for heros.
