Dishes prepared by the volunteers headed by chef Danny included cream of broccoli soup with croutons, Mediterranean salad with olive antipasti, aromatic rice, roasted vegetables, spicy potato wedges, pineapple and nectarine chutney, Spicy potatoes wedges, vegan pasta Bolognese, followed by dates pastry for dessert by Sarit Cohen. We also had a beautiful and artistic mixed fruit carving and skewers by Valeria. The table was dressed with a beautiful flower arrangement by Neri.

Councillor Brenda Batten said, “Thank you so much for inviting me to visit you all today. You were all so welcoming and the food so delicious. John has just had some of the fruit too and marvelled at the “bird “ slices of pineapple! Please thank everyone from me for all their hard work and all that they do for our community, it is much appreciated and thank you for the lovely card and flowers. There was such a warm ambience in the hall and Paul and Beverly did so well too. Thank the “chef” again, the lunch was so tasty with so many different flavours. Truly excellent!”
