Timely Support from Hertsmere Council

Today Gratitude’s Hub had a special visitor from Hertsmere Council. We were visited by Mr James Jeffery; the council’s policy manager, health & wellbeing officer who kindly responded to our funding plea. We are receiving many requests from young families for baby essentials and unfortunately are not able to help much as we are struggling to get these donated.

James managed to get us £500 worth of Tesco vouchers, which we are hoping to stretch as much as we can through the holiday period. Our baby and kids area at pick times serve about 50 families a day. Families are offered free nappies, wipes, baby food, toys, clothes, car seats, uniforms and more.

We are very thankful to Hertsmere Council for supporting Gratitude’s services to the community.

The Gratitude Team on behalf of our service users

This will help us to serve many families in need for a little while, but to make sure we have a continuous supply of baby essentials, we are welcoming any additional donations.

Thanks to today’s shelves restocking, if your family can use our support, we are here to help.
